Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Skullcrusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcello Magalhaes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magalhaes is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Last Of The Mohicans Soundtrack. Marcello Magalhaes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Skullcrusher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcello Magalhaes! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skullcrusher throws a head kick but Magalhaes moves out of range.
Magalhaes clinches up with Skullcrusher and pushes him back against the cage. Magalhaes is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Skullcrusher can't fight it off and eventually Magalhaes manages to take the fight to the floor. Skullcrusher looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Skullcrusher wants to stand and escape but Magalhaes is having none of it. Skullcrusher striking off his back but it's not causing Magalhaes any problems. Magalhaes pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Skullcrusher is keeping the position for now. Skullcrusher wants to sweep but no luck. Magalhaes trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Magalhaes drops back looking for a leg! Skullcrusher is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Skullcrusher manages to kick Magalhaes off! Magalhaes jumps back into Skullcrusher's guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Skullcrusher misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skullcrusher closes the distance but Magalhaes moves to the side and Magalhaes counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Skullcrusher! Magalhaes prevents Skullcrusher from getting the reversal. Magalhaes looking for a guillotine from mount but Skullcrusher is having none of it. Skullcrusher is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Skullcrusher can't escape the position.
Magalhaes is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Skullcrusher can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Magalhaes is going olschool here, as he tries to force Skullcrusher to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Skullcrusher shrugs it off. Skullcrusher wants to control but Magalhaes is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Magalhaes looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Magalhaes looks gassed! Magalhaes is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Skullcrusher is surviving well by controlling Magalhaes's body position as best he can. Skullcrusher is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Skullcrusher's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Magalhaes is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Skullcrusher has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Skullcrusher! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Magalhaes throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Skullcrusher escapes and throws Magalhaes's legs to the side, diving into side control! Magalhaes tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Skullcrusher wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skullcrusher tries to stand but Magalhaes is controlling his head. Skullcrusher wants to control but Magalhaes is keeping him busy. Magalhaes is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Skullcrusher's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Skullcrusher wants to take a breather but Magalhaes is having none of it. Skullcrusher throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Magalhaes looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Magalhaes moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Magalhaes has clasped his hands together around Skullcrusher's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Magalhaes tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Skullcrusher is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Magalhaes off and has taken his back! Magalhaes staying busy and making it hard for Skullcrusher to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Magalhaes rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Magalhaes gets full guard. Magalhaes looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Skullcrusher wants to control from the top but Magalhaes keeps moving. Magalhaes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marcello Magalhaes dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Magalhaes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Skullcrusher looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Skullcrusher is looking to stand up but Magalhaes isn't so interested in that idea. Magalhaes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Skullcrusher trying to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Magalhaes passes easily into side control. Nice work. Magalhaes has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Skullcrusher is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Magalhaes yanks on the arm and Skullcrusher is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Magalhaes.
