And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jason Kendrick!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plutarque fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kendrick doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Kendrick looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Plutarque tries to clinch but Kendrick moves away
enabling Kendrick to counter with a crisp jab.
Plutarque closes the distance and clinches.
Plutarque breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Plutarque tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kendrick manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Plutarque fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kendrick stuffs the takedown attempt from Plutarque. Plutarque gets slowly back to his feet.
Plutarque fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Plutarque has managed to clinch.
Plutarque tries to score a body lock takedown but Kendrick shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Plutarque gets control of Kendrick's arms and successfully pulls guard. Plutarque will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Plutarque looking for a triangle here. Kendrick is fighting it but it looks tight! Plutarque pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Kendrick is tapping out - this one is all over!
