Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dusty Sleeth (ranked 2356 p4p, 2794 weight class) and Deniz Uzun (ranked 286 p4p, 329 weight class). Dusty Sleeth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dusty Sleeth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Deniz Uzun!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sleeth shoots in looking for a takedown but Uzun manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sleeth's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Sleeth bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sleeth feinted with a counter takedown.
Uzun tries to keep at a distance but Sleeth has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sleeth is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Uzun to keep the fight standing.
Sleeth tries to pull guard but Uzun forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dusty Sleeth. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sleeth wants the takedown. Uzun is fighting it off but Sleeth persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Uzun's guard against the cage.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sleeth accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sleeth is in close to Uzun's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Uzun wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Sleeth manages to pass to side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Uzun trying to hold on to Sleeth's head to control him but Sleeth postures up.
Sleeth is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sleeth trying to control from half guard but Uzun is working away.
Sleeth performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Sleeth is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Uzun!
Uzun is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Sleeth is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Sleeth has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Sleeth working the ground and pound effectively.
Uzun is squirming around, avoiding Sleeth's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sleeth lands a nice shot to the head.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Uzun can do anything to dispel that myth.
Sleeth landing punches.
Uzun is rocked!
Sleeth with the ground and pound from mount.
Uzun is still in real trouble! Can Sleeth finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Uzun tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Sleeth postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Uzun is out cold - huge knockout for Sleeth!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Dusty Sleeth!
