Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Galli (ranked 4354 p4p, 3744 weight class) and Farhan Anwar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Desmond Galli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Farhan Anwar!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anwar tries to clinch but Galli moves out of range.
Anwar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Galli quickly recovers to half guard.
Anwar content to control rather than advance.
It looks like Anwar might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Galli tries to roll over but Anwar keeps him under control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anwar is keen to just control but Galli is a slippery customer.

Anwar is trying to control the action in half guard but Galli is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Anwar working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Anwar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Galli keeps working.

Well, if Anwar is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Anwar thows a huge punch but Galli dodges it nicely.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Farhan Anwar dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Anwar digs a good hook to Galli's body.
Galli scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Anwar looks for a takedown but Galli sprawls well.
Anwar drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Anwar has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Anwar walks into a stiff left hand from Galli.
Anwar takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Galli is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Galli lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A decent looking cross lands there for Galli.
Anwar throws a right and a left that Galli avoids nicely.
Galli lands with an overhand left.

Galli catches Anwar with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Galli wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Anwar.
Anwar is breathing heavily.
Anwar shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Galli connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Desmond Galli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Farhan Anwar.
Galli throws a series of strikes that have Anwar backpedaling.
Desmond Galli is winning the standup battle so far.
Galli lands a big right hand that sends Anwar crashing to the mat! Galli stays standing though and waves Anwar back to his feet!
Anwar is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Galli plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Anwar to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Anwar just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
