And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Dragomir!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dragomir tries to clinch up.
Goodman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Goodman shoots in but Dragomir avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Dragomir instigates a clinch.
Dragomir lands a left hand that snaps the head of Goodman backwards.

Dragomir throws a head punch that misses.
Goodman slows down the pace here.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dragomir.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Goodman wants to get back to striking at distance but Dragomir won't allow it.
Goodman tries to score a body lock takedown but Dragomir shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Dragomir clinches with his opponent.
Dragomir scores with a nice hook to the head.
Goodman tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dragomir just stands there and leans against the cage.
Still in the clinch, Dragomir scores with a nice short uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dragomir.
Goodman swings wildly with an uppercut but Dragomir uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Goodman is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Goodman decides to pull guard.
Dragomir wants to stand but Goodman has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Goodman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dragomir doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Goodman is tightening it up a little... Dragomir has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dragomir reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dragomir taps out! Nice BJJ there by Goodman!
