Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Delaware (ranked 4269 p4p, 4294 weight class) and Eion McCoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy closes the distance and clinches up with Delaware , looking for a takedown. McCoy pushes Delaware against the cage but Delaware circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Delaware shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McCoy as he jumps to the side.
Delaware tries to clinch but McCoy moves out of range.
Delaware doesn't manage to clinch there - McCoy circles away.
McCoy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Delaware defends well and McCoy ends up having to push Delaware into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Delaware takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Danga de danga de dang - Delaware scores with a four punch combination!

It looks like Eion McCoy has been cut.
McCoy shoots in looking for a takedown. Delaware tries to sprawl out of it but McCoy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Delaware manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dick Delaware has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eion McCoy.
Delaware is looking to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Delaware fails to land the takedown.
Delaware lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McCoy circles away quickly and effectively.
Delaware darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Delaware cracks McCoy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Delaware slaps away a takedown attempt from McCoy, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Delaware fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but McCoy avoids it really well and circles away.
McCoy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Delaware lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

McCoy moves into the clinch successfully.
Delaware tries for a takedown but McCoy manages to get underhooks.
Delaware wants to get back to striking at distance but McCoy won't allow it.
McCoy is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Delaware pulls him back up using the underhooks.
McCoy wants to break free but Delaware has control.

McCoy is trying to drag Delaware to the mat but Delaware just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
McCoy is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Delaware is defending well for now.

McCoy breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice sprawl there from Delaware as McCoy shoots in.
Delaware stalks McCoy and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McCoy's face. McCoy staggers backwards, shaken.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Delaware throws a nice looking combination but McCoy bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McCoy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Delaware swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McCoy tries for a takedown but Delaware sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Delaware closes the distance and clinches.
Delaware wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
McCoy is looking for a takedown.
McCoy wants to get back to striking at distance but Delaware won't allow it.
McCoy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Delaware pulls his leg out and moves away.

Oooooh!!! Delaware has knocked McCoy down with a huge combo! Delaware steps away and waves a wobbly McCoy back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

McCoy is rocked!

That has opened up Eion McCoy's cut even more.

Delaware throws a chopping leg kick but McCoy manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Delaware tries to clinch but McCoy moves out of range.

Delaware lands a left and a right that send McCoy crashing to the mat, dazed. Delaware thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
McCoy is still on wobbly legs! Can Delaware finish him?

The cut above Eion McCoy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Delaware .
Delaware lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks McCoy out cold! McCoy is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
