Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Many Men. Robert Swain has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Andres Anderson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robert Swain!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Swain shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Swain lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Anderson shoots in but no luck this time.
Anderson is breathing heavily.
Anderson moves to clinch but Swain breaks away
and Swain counters with a three punch combo that has Anderson backing up. Anderson nods at Swain to acknowledge the strikes.
Anderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Swain sprawls well. He's pushed Anderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Swain uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Anderson.

Swain stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Swain moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Swain lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Swain.

No joy there for Swain, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Anderson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Swain uses from the top position.
Anderson seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Swain has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Anderson is proving hard to escape from.

Swain might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Anderson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Anderson throws a wild hook but Swain just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Anderson gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Swain raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
