Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steeve Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Havoc Dugre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steeve Rice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Havoc Dugre! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dugre will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Dugre misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Horrible takedown by Rice or perhaps it was just good defense by Dugre which made him look bad. Rice looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rice has Dugre up against the cage in a clinch.
Dugre breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Rice tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Dugre shoots in for a takedown but Rice shows good takedown defense. Steeve Rice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Havoc Dugre. Rice misses with a takedown attempt - Dugre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Dugre with a lazy takedown attempt and Rice holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Rice keeps control of Dugre as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Rice misses with an elbow strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dugre is trying to break the clinch but Rice has him pressed against the cage. Rice lands a nice knee to the body. Dugre's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dugre swats away the attempt to clinch by Rice. Havoc Dugre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dugre rushes Rice and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Rice stalling against the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Dugre.
Rice with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Rice will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Dugre up against the cage. Nice elbow from Rice.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dugre has Rice pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rice manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Dugre avoiding damage as Rice throws knees to the body.
Rice landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Dugre goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rice prevents it.
Dugre looks gassed! Rice throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dugre blocks it with crossed arms. Dugre pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rice shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rice was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Rice get's back to his feet. Dugre closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dugre lands in his opponent's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rice looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dugre pushing down on Rice's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Rice is trying to maintain the position but Dugre is very close to passing his half guard. Dugre stands up out of the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dugre shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rice's guard. Rice looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dugre is one step ahead there. Rice is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rice working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dugre doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dugre manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dugre trying to control but Rice is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steeve Rice dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Dugre scores a takedown into full mount! Rice is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Dugre locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Rice is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Havoc Dugre!
