Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 9 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gus McCrae!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bum Phillips!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCrae throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Phillips on the side of the head.
McCrae throws a shot to the body.

Phillips takes a shot right to the bread basket.
McCrae misses with a double jab.
McCrae uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Phillips takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
McCrae does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McCrae misses with a looping right.
McCrae works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Phillips shoots in and drives through. McCrae sprawls well.

Phillips takes a shot to the body in his stride.
McCrae takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Phillips fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gus McCrae has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bum Phillips.
McCrae moves into range and connects with a jab.
McCrae dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gus McCrae is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

McCrae throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
McCrae misses with a body shot.
Phillips showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McCrae.
A little jabbing left from Phillips on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Phillips walks into a left hand.
McCrae just misses with a punch to the body.
McCrae fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McCrae swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Phillips looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Phillips looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Phillips takes a jab right on the kisser.
Phillips ducks under a wild hook from McCrae.
Phillips uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCrae.
McCrae swings for the body but Phillips moves out of range.
McCrae missing with a left hand there. Phillips was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
McCrae looks to land a combination. Phillips sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
McCrae is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

McCrae dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McCrae is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Phillips shoots for a takedown but McCrae saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
McCrae lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Gus McCrae seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCrae ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Phillips moves away.
McCrae just misses with a punch to the body.

Oooooh!!! McCrae has knocked Phillips down with a huge combo! McCrae steps away and waves a wobbly Phillips back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Phillips is rocked!

Phillips is still on wobbly legs! Can McCrae finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Phillips gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! McCrae gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
