Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hamish McKay (ranked 3451 p4p, 5323 weight class) and Phillip Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hamish McKay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Phillip Gray! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Gray throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. A nice inside leg kick there by Gray. That's going to slow McKay down. McKay closes the distance and clinches. A nice glancing elbow lands by Gray. McKay is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gray to keep the fight standing. Gray looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. McKay blocks the elbow strike.
McKay jumps guard but Gray turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. McKay has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gray uses from the top position. Gray wants to stand but McKay has a closed guard, so he can't escape. McKay is pulling down on Gray's head. It's preventing any offense from Gray, at least for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gray tries to stand but McKay is controlling from the bottom. McKay controlling Gray's posture. Gray wants to stand but McKay has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. McKay rushes Gray and presses him up against the cage. McKay blocks the elbow strike.
McKay jumps guard but Gray stands there with McKay around his waist. McKay gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hamish McKay. That's going to take a lot out of him. A quick uppercut on the inside from Gray. McKay ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McKay no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. McKay looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gray tries to stand but McKay is controlling from the bottom. McKay is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. McKay looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gray scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but McKay manages to mount him!
McKay tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. McKay continues to stall. Gray tries to buck McKay off but he can't manage it. McKay looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gray is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Hamish McKay dominated that round. That's time! McKay's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gray is looking to control McKay's arms but McKay gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gray has his back to the cage. McKay manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. McKay is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McKay manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gray manages to get himself to full guard.
McKay stays in close to Gray's body and controls the position. Gray is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and McKay dives into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McKay takes a little break here. Gray wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Gray wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's one minute gone in the round. McKay is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. McKay is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gray can do to turn this around? McKay has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Gray is pushing McKay's head away, looking to escape. McKay manages to hold on to the position though. McKay controls the position. Gray wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gray is breathing heavily. McKay controls the position from side control. Gray is looking to work his way out of this bad position but McKay is controlling him well. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. McKay is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Gray gets tackled into the cage by McKay. McKay maintains the clinch. McKay is trying to pull guard but Gray turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. McKay pulls guard. McKay has his hands on Gray's head, controlling the position. McKay manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gray manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McKay seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gray wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and McKay manages to pass to side control. McKay passes the guard and advances to mount! McKay lands with some strikes. McKay looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gray is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Hamish McKay overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. McKay controlling his opponent. McKay's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Gray wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McKay looking to control and managing it successfully. Gray tries to buck McKay off but he can't manage it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hamish McKay dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! McKay tries to clinch but Gray moves out of range. Gray let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. An inside leg kick lands from Gray. McKay drives through and clinches with Gray against the cage.
Gray is trying to break the clinch but McKay is controlling him. McKay manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. McKay is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gray rolls with it to try and escape but McKay cranks on the arm and Gray is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
