Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miles Mahar (ranked 4353 p4p, 3159 weight class) and Wing Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahar comes into the arena with Far Behind blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wang slips a jab and a cross from Mahar.
Mahar fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Wang is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Wang misses with a hook. Mahar ducked under it nicely.
Wang has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Mahar tries to bum rush Wang with a series of wild strikes but Wang uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Wang swings widly with a right hand
and Mahar counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mahar throws a shot from downtown. Wang moves away and avoids it.

and Wang counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mahar is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Wang dives into side control.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wang connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mahar some visible discomfort.

Wang in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Mahar is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
