Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ihme Mies (ranked 1288 p4p, 1885 weight class) and Asher Cohen (ranked 203 p4p, 279 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ihme Mies!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Asher Cohen!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cohen lands a nice shot to the body.
Cohen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Mies.
It looks like Asher Cohen has been cut.
Mies feints a jab promting Cohen to slip. Mies then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cohen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cohen throws a body shot but no joy.
Mies tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cohen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mies misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cohen throws a hook but Mies blocks it.
Mies on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Cohen lands a jab-cross combination.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mies blocks a jab.
Mies takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Ihme Mies has been cut.
Mies doesn't manage to clinch there - Cohen circles away.
Mies fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cohen missing with a left hand there. Mies was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cohen lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Mies looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cohen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mies.
Mies throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cohen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mies throws a right and a left that Cohen avoids nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A combination from Mies does no damage.
Cohen throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mies clobbers Cohen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Cohen lands a nice looking body shot.
Cohen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Cohen slips a jab and a cross from Mies.
Cohen's coach down at Dark Horse MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Cohen's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Mies takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jab, jab by Cohen - just one landing.
Mies throws out a leg kick but Cohen moves out of range and Mies only half commits.
Mies takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Cohen cracks Mies with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mies rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cohen counters with a left to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cohen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Mies is rocked!
Mies throws a lazy uppercut
and Cohen counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Mies out cold! What a finish! Cohen is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Asher Cohen!
Ihme Mies was interviewed post fight and said 'I Come back stronger'.
