With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jackson Alvarez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuta Sanguiao!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alvarez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jackson Alvarez will probably get the nod.

Alvarez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sanguiao paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Alvarez moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Yuta Sanguiao seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Alvarez doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Sanguiao looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Sanguiao throws a right hand that Alvarez ducks under and follows up with a left that Alvarez also avoids with ease.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The fight stays on the outside here - Alvarez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Alvarez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sanguiao tries to avoid it but Alvarez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sanguiao to the ground. Sanguiao escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Sanguiao lands with a straight right. Alvarez didn't see that one coming.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Yuta Sanguiao.
I think Alvarez has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
