Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Ruiz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Livingstone Bramble!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz throws a right and a left that Bramble avoids nicely.
Bramble let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Ruiz with a nice calf kick.
Anthony Ruiz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ruiz. That's going to slow Bramble down.
Ruiz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ruiz jabs Bramble right on the nose. Bramble blinks but takes it well.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ruiz.
Bramble looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ruiz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ruiz lands a high kick!
Bramble staying out of range there.
Bramble looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Ruiz lands with a kick to the temple. Bramble shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ruiz tries a head kick but it misses.
Ruiz lands a nice shot that snaps Bramble's head back.
Bramble is rocked!
Bramble has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Ruiz listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Bramble is still on wobbly legs! Can Ruiz finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruiz tries to bum rush Bramble with a series of wild strikes but Bramble uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Ruiz lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Bramble can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Ruiz and Bramble drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Ruiz.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Ruiz!
After winning the bout, Anthony Ruiz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
