Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Marxer (ranked 2037 p4p, 3918 weight class) and Richie Alaska (ranked 262 p4p, 409 weight class). Alaska has chosen A Long December - Counting Crows as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Marxer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Richie Alaska! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, John Roberts and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alaska avoids the body shot from Marxer.
Marxer scores with a nice strike. Marxer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Marxer looks to score with a jab to the body but Alaska is just out of range. Alaska cracks a nice hook into Marxer's ribs. Marxer lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Alaska scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Aaron Marxer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marxer gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Marxer takes a body punch but keeps moving. Marxer throws a series of punches but Alaska avoids them all with ease. Alaska misses with a wild body shot. Marxer throws a leg kick but Alaska checks it. Alaska appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Marxer lands a really nice looking cross but Alaska seems unphased.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alaska has managed to clinch.

Alaska working for a triangle but Marxer defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Marxer trying to control but Alaska is working from the bottom. Alaska working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Marxer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Marxer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Alaska is looking to cinch up a triangle. Marxer throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Alaska's body to avoid the submission. Alaska has instead reached around Marxer's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Alaska arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
