Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tero Lal (ranked 5450 p4p, 3262 weight class) and The Island Sparbot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tero Lal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Island Sparbot! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lal takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Tero Lal has been cut. A jab from Sparbot finds it's way through Lal's defenses. Lal swings away with a body shot that misses
and Sparbot counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Lal looks for a takedown but Sparbot sprawls well. Lal walks into a stiff left hand from Sparbot. Lal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sparbot sprawls well. Sparbot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lal gets slowly back to his feet. Sparbot shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lal eats them both and turns towards Sparbot to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Lal has been working on his balance at Cozad The Island, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Sparbot. Sparbot scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Lal tries to close the distance and clinch but Sparbot swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sparbot works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Lal is rocked! Sparbot's coach down at Elite Boxing Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sparbot's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Sparbot lands a big right hand that sends Lal crashing to the mat! Sparbot stays standing though and waves Lal back to his feet! Oh Lal is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sparbot lands with a good body shot. Nice body punch from Sparbot. This has been an exciting period of action! Sparbot fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lal on the side of the head. Sparbot throws a monster overhand right that drops Lal! Sparbot follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Island Sparbot!
