Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lutalo Masamba (ranked 2147 p4p, 2179 weight class) and Jerome Spong (ranked 269 p4p, 273 weight class). Spong has chosen Bullet For My Valentine - In Loving Memory as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerome Spong!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Spong misses the target.
Masamba darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Jerome Spong has been cut.
Masamba definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Masamba cracks Spong with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Spong looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Masamba finish him?
Spong is rocked!
Masamba ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Spong out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lutalo Masamba!
