Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 23848 p4p, 6251 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 56 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 49 - 22 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fighter A showed some decent athleticism there. Fighter A prevents Fighter B from improving his position. Fighter A is trying to control the action in half guard but Fighter B is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Fighter A trying to control the pace. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B trying to hold on to Fighter A's head to control him but Fighter A postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B wants to improve his position but Fighter A is controlling well.
Fighter B is controlling Fighter A's position as best he can from this difficult position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Well, if Fighter A is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fighter A drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Fighter B is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fighter B seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Fighter A controlling from the top position. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Fighter A postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Nice body kick there by Fighter A.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fighter A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter B defends it nicely. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fighter A sprawls well. Fighter A wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter B gets slowly back to his feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sss Sss dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Fighter A dives in for a single leg takedown but Fighter B sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Fighter A breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fighter A shoots in and bounces Fighter B off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Fighter B has Fighter A pulled in close to control his posture. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B wants to sweep but no luck. Fighter B controlling the position. Fighter A throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around?
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fighter A darts in looking for a takedown but Fighter B gets double underhooks and turns Fighter A into the cage. Fighter B now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Fighter B pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Fighter B misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fighter A is looking to counter with a body kick. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter B. Fighter A jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Fighter A wants to improve his position but Fighter B is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fighter A is holding on to half guard well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter B content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Fighter A wants to control but Fighter B is keeping busy.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's trapped leg to prevent Fighter B from advancing to side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Sss Sss will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Fighter B closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fighter A did well to prevent Fighter B getting side control. Fighter B is thwarting Fighter A's attempts to control the position. Fighter B is nestled in close to Fighter A, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B is controlling the pace.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fighter A shoots for a double leg takedown but Fighter B sprawls well. He's pushed Fighter A's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fighter B shoots in looking for a takedown but Fighter A manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fighter B's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Fighter A fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fighter B sprawls well initially but Fighter A persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Fighter B manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Fighter B has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Fighter B working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fighter A.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B looking for a sweep. Not yet Fighter B, not yet. Fighter A trying to control the position from guard on top but Fighter B is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fighter B being controlled here, momentarily. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fighter A closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter B to the mat! Fighter B manages to get full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Fighter B holds on and takes a little breather. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fighter A is one step ahead there.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sss Sss. I think Fighter B has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
