The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Exotic is rocked!

It looks like Winner Exotic has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Exotic, which made it look bad.
Exotic is still on wobbly legs! Can Lee finish him?

Lee scores with a takedown into Exotic's guard.
Lee scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Exotic wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment.
Exotic seems to have recovered his senses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Exotic trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.

Lee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Lee tries to free his leg and advance position but Exotic is retaining full guard.
Exotic throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Lee gets to his feet - Exotic follows without any prompting.
Lee throws a series of punches but Exotic avoids them all with ease.

Lee gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Lee has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Exotic is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Lee prevents Exotic from breaking the clinch.

Lee tries to break the clinch but Exotic is controlling the position.
Exotic gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lee.

Lee drags the fight down to the ground.
Exotic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Lee not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Exotic preventing the sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Lee working for a triangle but Exotic defends it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Exotic's guard.

Exotic is working an open guard so Lee takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Lee creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Lee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Exotic is not content to let Lee control the position.
Lee slows the pace down.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Lee drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lee lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Exotic gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Lee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Exotic is looking to escape.

Lee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Exotic can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lee breaks from Exotic's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Lee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lee looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Lee sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Exotic is controlling an arm, preventing Lee from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Exotic is squirming around, avoiding Lee's attempts to control the action.
Lee lands a big shot there that rocks Exotic but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Lee working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Exotic looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Lee! Submission of the night perhaps?
