The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Fries looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Daniels just misses with a punch to the body.
Daniels throws a poor cross that misses
and Fries counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Teddy Daniels has been cut.
Daniels walks into a stiff left hand from Fries .
Fries staying out of range there.

A little jabbing left from Fries on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Daniels uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fries .
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Fries counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Fries moves out of range as Daniels strikes.

Teddy Daniels seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
