Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom DeBlass (ranked 4413 p4p, 4113 weight class) and Jaylen Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tom DeBlass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jaylen Brown!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeBlass with a lazy takedown attempt
and Brown cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
DeBlass shoots in but no luck this time.
Brown stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tom DeBlass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Horrible takedown attempt by DeBlass or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown, which made it look bad.
DeBlass shoots in and drives through. Brown sprawls well.
Brown lands a head shot.
DeBlass tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brown defends well and DeBlass ends up having to push Brown into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

DeBlass turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and DeBlass manages to end up in side control.
Brown is looking for a sweep.

DeBlass wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brown, who protects the arm well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

DeBlass is trying to get an arm triangle but Brown is defending well.

Brown tries to bench press DeBlass off him but DeBlass keeps the position.

DeBlass thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The referee asks DeBlass politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. DeBlass prefers to stall for the moment though.

DeBlass is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Brown has escaped the position, nice work there.
Brown is looking to reverse the position.

DeBlass is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Brown knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
DeBlass is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Brown will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

DeBlass tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no DeBlass has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Brown wants to control but DeBlass postures up.
DeBlass passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Brown!

DeBlass is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Brown can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Brown has left one of his arms exposed and DeBlass doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Brown screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
