Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mendez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but karjunen moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
karjunen shoots in but no luck this time.
karjunen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
karjunen throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mendez's head.
Mendez throws out a powerful jab.
karjunen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mendez is fending him off so far but karjunen persists. Nope, Mendez circles away and we're back to standing.
Caesar Mendez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jorma karjunen.
Mendez throws a sloppy head kick and karjunen moves out of range easily.
Mendez lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mendez.

Mendez lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as karjunen crumples to the floor! Mendez milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
