Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joel Miller (ranked 1061 p4p, 2556 weight class) and Okoro Igwe (ranked 162 p4p, 358 weight class). Joel Miller has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joel Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Okoro Igwe!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igwe missing with a left hand there. Miller was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Igwe thuds a left hand into Miller's body.
Nice uppercut lands for Igwe. That snapped Miller's head back.
Igwe throws a body punch but Miller moves out of range.
Miller throwing a counter right hand but Igwe manages to avoid it.

Miller has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Miller there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nice straight punches there by Igwe. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Igwe.
Miller connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Igwe throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Miller throws a hook but Igwe avoids it easily.
Miller misses with a jab, cross combination.
Miller throws a hook to the side of Igwe's head but Igwe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Igwe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Okoro Igwe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been told by Miller's head coaches at Is It Avatary Enough? that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Igwe has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That's time! Miller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miller lands a big right hand that sends Igwe crashing to the mat! Miller stays standing though and waves Igwe back to his feet!

Igwe is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Miller engages and cracks Igwe with a massive lead left hook - Igwe tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Miller is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Joel Miller!
During a confident post fight interview, Joel Miller thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
