Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Jackson (ranked 4319 p4p, 3711 weight class) and Lil Fella (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lil Fella will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jackson Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Lil Fella! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson stuffs the takedown. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fella has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Fella connects with an inside leg kick. Jackson pushes Fella up against the cage in a clinch. Fella drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jackson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jackson taking a breather. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Fella has eaten all the pies! Jackson gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fella regains guard.
Jackson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Jackson works over Fella with some ground and pound from guard. Fella has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jackson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fella is on top in guard.

Jackson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Jackson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jackson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fella has his foot on Jackson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jackson works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fella defends it well. Fella gets back to full guard.
Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fella on the ground. Fella is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Fella stops Jackson from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fella is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jackson sees it coming and defends easily. Jackson is trying to stand up here but Fella is controlling him well. Fella is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Fella is breathing heavily. Jackson slips a nice elbow through Fella's hands, connecting with Fella's forehead. Jackson is trying to work for a kimura but Fella is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jackson prevents Fella from improving his position. Fella has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Jackson. Oh but Fella has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Jackson goes limp - he's gone! Fella jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
