Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Sullivan (ranked 3001 p4p, 4329 weight class) and Yurij Stasyuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan stuffs the takedown attempt from Stasyuk. Stasyuk gets slowly back to his feet.

Stasyuk has Sullivan pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Sullivan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Sullivan bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stasyuk's guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
