Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Dier (ranked 1379 p4p, 975 weight class) and Eron Saunders (ranked 185 p4p, 135 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Dier! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eron Saunders! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dier with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Saunders to score with a decent uppercut. Saunders avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Saunders scores with a nice right hand.
It looks like Eric Dier has been cut. Dier scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Dier shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Dier shoots in and gets a takedown into Saunders's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dier seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Saunders bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dier's guard. Dier tries to land a sweep but no joy. Saunders got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dier has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Saunders has managed to get both his arms back between Dier's legs - danger averted. Dier is adopting a defensive guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dier looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dier is trying to control the position but Saunders postures up. Dier pulls Saunders in close to prevent any damage. Dier is looking to cinch up a triangle. Saunders throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dier's body to avoid the submission. Dier has instead reached around Saunders's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dier arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Eric Dier! Eric Dier is the new middleweight champion! Eric Dier spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
