Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Walangligo (ranked 4329 p4p, 3202 weight class) and Keifer Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Walangligo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jake Walangligo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keifer Moore! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore rushes Walangligo and presses him up against the cage. Walangligo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Moore fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Moore rushes Walangligo and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Moore jumps guard and drags Walangligo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Moore looking for a sweep. Not yet Moore, not yet. Moore manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Walangligo manages to get himself to full guard.
Moore is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Walangligo has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Moore has passed into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore misses with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Walangligo's face as Moore controls the position. Moore is continuing to stall. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Walangligo is trying to improve his position. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Walangligo is looking to regain half guard here but Moore keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walangligo striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Moore rushes Walangligo and presses him up against the cage. Moore has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Walangligo uses from the top position. Moore is pulling down on Walangligo's head to control his posture. Moore is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Walangligo wants to control but Moore passes into side.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moore slows the pace down. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The adventures of Moore the control monster continue. Boring. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Keifer Moore dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Moore rushes Walangligo and presses him up against the cage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Moore tries to pull guard but Walangligo won't allow it.
Walangligo wants to stall.
Moore jumps guard.
Walangligo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Moore managing to control the position. Moore bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Walangligo's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Walangligo tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Moore has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Moore controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Moore has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Moore. Walangligo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Moore controlling from mount. Moore lands with some strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Moore sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Walangligo tries to get back to half guard but can't. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Moore controlling from the full mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Keifer Moore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round! Walangligo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Moore but Moore pushes him off and we're back to square one. Moore swats away the attempt to clinch by Walangligo. Walangligo tries to keep at a distance but Moore has taken the fight into the clinch. Moore manages to pull guard.
Moore pulls Walangligo in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore pushes a forearm under Walangligo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Walangligo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
