Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mei Ozaki!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ozaki throws a leg kick which misses Lee's front leg but catches the back leg as Lee tries to avoid it.
Ozaki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lee.

Ozaki scores with a takedown into Lee's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ozaki throws a big right hand that misses.
Ozaki stopping the sweep attempt from Lee.
Ozaki tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard.
Ozaki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ozaki is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lee sees it coming and defends easily.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Ozaki is working away from the top position though.

Ozaki has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ozaki cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ozaki lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Lee sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Lee is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ozaki scores with a couple of nice shots.

Ozaki wants to free his trapped foot but Lee is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Ozaki seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ozaki has eaten all the pies!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lee is looking to control Ozaki's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted?

Ozaki is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ozaki looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Ozaki napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Lee is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Ozaki knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ozaki holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Ozaki has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Lee goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ozaki has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lee but great work by Ozaki.

Lee tries to hold on but Ozaki postures up.
Lee is controlling an arm, preventing Ozaki from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Mei Ozaki has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ozaki is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lee has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lee!
Ozaki is breathing heavily.
Ozaki bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard.

Ozaki is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Ozaki is looking for a kimura but Lee is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Ozaki to get the leverage.

Ozaki is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lee is just riding it out for now. Ozaki eventually gives up the hold.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but Ozaki is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Lee wants to get up but he can't break Ozaki's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Mei Ozaki is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ozaki shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ozaki showed some decent athleticism there.

Lee pushes Ozaki off and gets back to his feet.

I think Ozaki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
