Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Jacobs (ranked 25300 p4p, 3814 weight class) and Mason St Jaques (ranked 564 p4p, 205 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
St Jaques stuffs the takedown.
St Jaques looks to land a combination. Jacobs sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

and St Jaques counters with a shoot takedown. Jacobs fights it but they end up in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as St Jaques accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
St Jaques has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jacobs wants to get back to his feet but St Jaques passes into half guard.
