The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cummings tries to sprawl but Henrique drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Henrique thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cummings's head.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cummings in particular looking to stall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close round but I would say that David Cummings will probably get the nod.

Cummings works to advance to full mount. Henrique defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Henrique tries to lock up and control but Cummings gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cummings is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Henrique is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Henrique flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cummings anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Henrique and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cummings slips an arm under Henrique chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cummings has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cummings is squeezing on Henrique like an anaconda would it's prey. Henrique fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
