Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muchy Cartwright (ranked 1199 p4p, 3223 weight class) and Abel Drugger (ranked 59 p4p, 122 weight class). Cartwright's entrance music is Mauled. A fine choice. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Muchy Cartwright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Abel Drugger!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drugger tries for a takedown but Cartwright circles away easily
and Cartwright counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Cartwright looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Drugger rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cartwright moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Cartwright is looking to clinch.
Drugger throws a shot from downtown. Cartwright moves away and avoids it.
Cartwright dives in for a single leg takedown but Drugger sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Drugger is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Drugger has the hooks in. Cartwright is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Drugger has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Cartwright has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cartwright is looking to get to half guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Abel Drugger will probably get the nod.
That's time! Cartwright's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Drugger misses with a takedown attempt - Cartwright sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Cartwright throws a counter high kick but Drugger was just alert enough to avoid it.
Drugger tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Cartwright defends well and Drugger ends up having to push Cartwright into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Drugger. Cartwright does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cartwright is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Drugger.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Drugger is defended easily by Cartwright.

Drugger has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Cartwright after a bit of a struggle.
Cartwright wants the takedown. Drugger is fighting it off but Cartwright persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Drugger's guard against the cage.
Drugger has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Cartwright is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Drugger.
Drugger is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Cartwright lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Drugger is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Cartwright scores with a couple of nice shots.
Cartwright is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Drugger defends it well.

We've been informed that Drugger has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Cartwright prevents Drugger from improving his position.
Cartwright is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Drugger is just riding it out for now. Cartwright eventually gives up the hold.
Drugger tries to roll over but Cartwright keeps him under control.

Cartwright keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Drugger's head.
Cartwright postures up in Drugger's guard and throws a big left but Drugger blocks it.

Drugger has his feet on Cartwright's thighs here. He's pushed Cartwright off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Cartwright screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
