Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tayaen Porfirigo (ranked 2748 p4p, 2693 weight class) and Willie Layer (ranked 355 p4p, 350 weight class). Willie Layer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tayaen Porfirigo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Willie Layer!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porfirigo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Layer's waist but Layer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Porfirigo off to one side.
Layer is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Layer circles away from the clinch attempt.
Porfirigo fails with a takedown attempt.
A shot to the liver by Porfirigo. Beautiful body shot.
Layer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Porfirigo manages to avoid it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Porfirigo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Layer moves away.
Porfirigo misses with a takedown attempt - Layer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tayaen Porfirigo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Layer thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Porfirigo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Tayaen Porfirigo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Layer tries to sprawl but Porfirigo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Layer tries to kick Porfirigo off in order to stand up. Porfirigo Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Porfirigo in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Layer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Porfirigo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Porfirigo trying to control the action but Layer is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Layer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Porfirigo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Porfirigo decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Porfirigo lands with a big left! Layer is wobbled badly! Porfirigo comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Layer to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tayaen Porfirigo!
