Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brendan Baddock (ranked 1256 p4p, 434 weight class) and Isaac Newton (ranked 145 p4p, 57 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brendan Baddock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Isaac Newton! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Newton digs a good hook to Baddock's body.
Baddock lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A head kick from Baddock lands but Newton takes it in his stride. Newton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Baddock manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Newton passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Newton scoring with strikes to the body and head. Newton passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Baddock! Baddock is in a horrible position here. Newton smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Brendan Baddock has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baddock has left one of his arms exposed and Newton doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Baddock screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
