Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Andrews (ranked 3006 p4p, 2449 weight class) and Auric Gallahad (ranked 364 p4p, 329 weight class). And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Auric Gallahad!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andrews moves into range and connects with a jab.
Andrews lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Andrews falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gallahad counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Andrews tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Gallahad manages to move to mount!
Gallahad looking to isolate an arm here. Andrews doesn't see it coming and as Gallahad extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Gallahad!
