Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sullivan Andrews (ranked 6257 p4p, 24942 weight class) and Dana Helwani (ranked 560 p4p, 570 weight class). Dana Helwani is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sullivan Andrews!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Dana Helwani!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Helwani shoots in but no luck this time.
Nice sprawl there from Andrews as Helwani shoots in.
Helwani throws a head kick but Andrews moves out of range.
Helwani shoots in looking for a takedown. Andrews tries to sprawl out of it but Helwani keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Andrews manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sullivan Andrews has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dana Helwani.

Helwani lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Andrews throws a solid leg kick but Helwani takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Andrews.

Andrews closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Helwani quickly recovers to half guard.

Helwani had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Andrews defends it easily.

Andrews postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Helwani is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Andrews, into his guard.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Andrews is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Helwani is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Andrews is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Helwani quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Andrews has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Helwani celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
