Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Winkie!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winkie tries to clinch but Kara moves out of range.
Kara tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Winkie manages to circle out of the way.
William Winkie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Winkie clinches.
Kara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kara lands a nice looking kick to the body. Winkie takes a step back to recover.

Winkie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Winkie is trying to pull guard but Kara has him pressed against the cage.
Winkie tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kara smiles and moves away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Let's hope that Winkie has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Winkie's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kara or perhaps it was just good defense by Winkie, which made it look bad.
Winkie closes the distance and pushes Kara back into the cage.
Winkie tries to pull guard but Kara forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Winkie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kara walks away with a smile on his face. Winkie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kara tries to keep at a distance but Winkie has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kara has Winkie pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kara pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Winkie tumbling to the mat - Kara dives into Winkie's guard.
Winkie looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Winkie has control of Kara's left arm, preventing Kara from doing any damage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Winkie displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kara.
Winkie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kara swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kara jumps guard and drags Winkie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Winkie avoids the attempt from Kara to control.
Winkie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
