The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Some wild striking there from Thompson.
Tanu moves in looking to clinch but Thompson pushes him off.
Thompson drops Tanu with a beautiful combination! Tanu stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thompson is looking for the KO!
Tanu is rocked!
It looks like Aoi Tanu has been cut.
Thompson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Tanu is looking to close the distance but Thompson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Tanu crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Tanu is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
