Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Higanti Libat (ranked 24277 p4p, 24639 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 14 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Higanti Libat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 22 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nada misses with a takedown attempt - Libat sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Libat quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Libat shoots in and bounces Nada off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat stands up from Nada's guard - Libat perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. No luck with that takedown attempt from Nada. Nada shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Libat sprawls well. Libat wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nada gets slowly back to his feet. As Nada looks to move away, Libat throws a big counter combo but Nada just gets out of the way. Higanti Libat has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. Libat shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nada is trying to defend but Libat finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nada wants to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada is looking to control Libat's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nada avoid being mounted? Nada keeping control of the position. Libat landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nada keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Nada trying to control from the bottom.
Well, if Libat is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Libat has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Higanti Libat dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Nada shoots in looking for a takedown but Libat manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nada's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. And Libat counters with a quick kick to the body but Nada blocks it. Libat shoots in for a takedown but Nada shows good takedown defense. No luck with that takedown attempt from Libat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada closes the distance and clinches up with Libat, looking for a takedown. Nada pushes Libat against the cage but Libat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Libat closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Libat trying to control the position but Nada is working away. Nada is trying to control Libat's posture but Libat avoids it. Nada is trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. This is a sustained period of stalling by Libat.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Libat shoots in but Nada avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Higanti Libat. That's going to take a lot out of him. Libat fails with the takedown. Nada gets a takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada controlling the pace. Libat wants to improve his position but Nada is controlling well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat wants to control but Nada passes into side.

A close second round but Way Nada will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! Nada fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Libat went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Nada shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Libat defends it nicely. It appears Libat was looking to counter with a kick there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Libat shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Libat in particular looking to stall. Nada is trying is best to control the position here.

Nada keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. Nada wants to control the action here but instead Libat manages to pass to full mount! Higanti Libat overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Nada can't escape the position.

Nada tries to lock up and control but Libat gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Libat takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Libat with the ground and pound from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Higanti Libat showed his dominance in that final round. Well Libat has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
