Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Liu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Custer Carver!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carver throws a lazy body kick
and Liu counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Carver wants to get back to his feet but Liu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Carver controls Liu momentarily but Liu frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Liu throws a strike but Carver rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Liu wants to improve his position but instead Carver has moved into half guard.
Carver works his foot free and advances to mount.
Carver sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Carver throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Liu prevents any damage by holding on tight.
Carver looking to control but Liu is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Carver throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Liu because Carver loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Carver looking to ground and pound but Liu is blocking nicely.
Liu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carver on the ground.
Liu wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Carver.
Carver prevents Liu from getting the reversal.
Carver works his way to his opponent's back.
Carver is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Liu won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Carver off his unconscious opponent!
