Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Boy (ranked 5882 p4p, 4269 weight class) and Borys Timko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timko tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Timko tries a head kick but it misses.

Boy drives through and clinches with Timko against the cage.
Timko goes for a takedown attempt but Boy pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Boy looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Timko!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Timko is trying to control Boy's posture but Boy avoids it.
Timko is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Boy has just dragged him back down to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Timko wants to control but Boy postures up.
Boy staying calm.
Boy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Timko on the ground.

Timko seems to have recovered his senses.

Boy pushes Timko back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Boy gets through Timko's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Boy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boy lands a jab to Timko's midsection.

Boy feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Timko sprawling to the canvas! Timko rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Boy finish him?!

Boy's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Boy here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Boy.
Timko is trying to stand up here but Boy is controlling him well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Timko tries to roll over but Boy keeps him under control.
