Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Diddy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Beto Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ribeiro duly obliges.
Ribeiro looks to land a combination. Diddy sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Diddy misses with a takedown attempt
and Ribeiro counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Ribeiro counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Diddy. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Diddy is defended easily by Ribeiro.
Ribeiro unleashes a big counter combination but Diddy bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Ribeiro punishes Diddy's body with a nice straight punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Diddy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Ribeiro counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ribeiro lands a jab to the nose.
Ribeiro connects with a body shot that sends Diddy's belly button to the back.
Diddy with a poor takedown
and Ribeiro scores with a counter punch that sends Diddy to the canvas! Ribeiro smells blood - he's punishing Diddy with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Diddy has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
