Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Seamus Murphy (ranked 2531 p4p, 2765 weight class) and Mikey Day (ranked 139 p4p, 0 weight class). Murphy comes to the cage accompanied by Molly Malone- The Dubliners. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Seamus Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 21 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mikey Day!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Day. Day obviously looking to wear him down.
Day lands a right hook to the body.
Day digs a good hook to Murphy's body.
Day scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Sloppy strikes there by Day.
Check out the look on Day's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Day wants to lay and pray for a moment but Murphy keeps working.
The ground and pound from Day seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Murphy can't do much from the bottom here.
Day connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Murphy some visible discomfort.

Day is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Murphy is defending well though. Day let's go of the attempt for now.

Day has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Murphy's body.

Day has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Day has managed to slip his arm under Murphy's chin. This could be all over... yep, Murphy is tapping out! Submission win for Day.
