Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ardahan Battuga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ifan Hawkins!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Battuga ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hawkins moves away.
Hawkins shoots in and drives through. Battuga sprawls well.
Battuga stuns Hawkins with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Battuga fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hawkins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Hawkins tries for a takedown but Battuga circles away easily
and Battuga counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Battuga moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hawkins shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Battuga lands an overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Battuga drops Hawkins with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Hawkins! Battuga dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
