Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Lomax (ranked 126 p4p, 216 weight class) and Leonzar Kennedy (ranked 19 p4p, 31 weight class). Vincent Lomax has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 35 - 15 - 2, fighting out of New York, Vincent Lomax! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leonzar Kennedy! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No joy there for Kennedy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Lomax fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kennedy on the side of the head. Lomax ducks right into an uppercut from Kennedy. Kennedy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lomax was well out of range. Poor timing from Kennedy. Kennedy uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lomax. Kennedy lands a jab to Lomax's midsection. A solid leg kick lands there for Kennedy.

Kennedy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Lomax scores with a nice head shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lomax throws a body punch but Kennedy moves out of range.

Lomax punishes Kennedy's body with a nice straight punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lomax chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kennedy can pounce on him.

Vincent Lomax dominated that round. The cut man is working on Leonzar Kennedy's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Kennedy lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Kennedy in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Lomax tries to circle away but Kennedy has him pinned against the cage. Lomax takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Kennedy moves out of range of the strikes. Lomax throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Vincent Lomax. I think Lomax has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
