Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bahadur Samir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Stan!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Hemmingworth and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Samir was covering up waiting for the punch and Stan finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Samir looking for a guillotine here but Stan defends easily.
Stan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Samir. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Samir is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Samir is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Samir is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Stan has managed to free his arm - good work.

Stan keeps control of the position for the meantime.

Stan is trying to maintain the position but Samir is very close to passing his half guard.

Stan has hold of Samir's hands but Samir slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Stan keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Samir wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stan keeps working.

Stan is staying active underneath Samir, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
