This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 3 losses; Tahboule Alawi! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Smyth instigates a clinch. Smyth is defending well against a takedown attempt. Alawi wants a takedown but no success here.

Alawi is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Smyth is in real trouble.

Alawi wants to control the pace but Smyth is squirming around nicely. Alawi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Smyth haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Smyth is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Smyth regains half guard. Smyth is staying active underneath Alawi, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
