The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Odonnel is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Weaver's half guard.
Odonnel thows a huge punch but Weaver dodges it nicely.
Weaver tries to kick Odonnel off but Odonnel keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Odonnel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Weaver wants to get back to his feet but Odonnel is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Odonnel has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Weaver's face.

Odonnel throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Weaver has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.

Let's hope that Odonnel has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Odonnel .
Weaver wants to get back to his feet.
Our spies down at at PhoQus Island Training inform us that Odonnel has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Odonnel has got one arm under Weaver's chin. This could be trouble... Weaver trying to control the other hand but Odonnel gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Weaver has tapped out! The fight is over!
