Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fajardo drops his hands momentarily and Rager I takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fajardo shoots in but no luck this time.
A punch lands to the side of Fajardo 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Fajardo closes the distance but Rager I moves to the side
letting Rager I counter with a right hand.
Fajardo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rager I sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fajardo shoots in but no luck this time.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Rager I! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Franco Fajardo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fajardo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

It seemed like Rager I was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Rager I moves into the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Fajardo - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Fajardo striking off his back but it's not causing Rager I any problems.
Fajardo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Rager I wants to control from the top but Fajardo keeps moving.

Rager I wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Fajardo's closed guard. He's half up but Fajardo has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Fajardo pivots and extends the arm, Rager I falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Fajardo! Well done that man!
