And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Island Sparbot!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magee tries for a takedown but Sparbot circles away easily
and Sparbot counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Sparbot throws a series of strikes that have Magee backpedaling.
It looks like Thomas Magee has been cut.
Sparbot connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Magee momentarily.
Sparbot displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
A head kick by Magee misses
and Sparbot counters with a nice uppercut.
Sparbot connects with a body shot that sends Magee's belly button to the back.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sparbot lands a big right hand that sends Magee crashing to the mat! Sparbot stays standing though and waves Magee back to his feet!
Magee is rocked!
Magee gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Sparbot scores with a counter punch that sends Magee to the canvas! Sparbot smells blood - he's punishing Magee with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Magee has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Island Sparbot!
After the fight, The Island Sparbot was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
