Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mabahong Tae (ranked 3847 p4p, 24523 weight class) and Dabur Ganiesh (ranked 440 p4p, 577 weight class). Ganiesh has chosen Stach Stach as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Mabahong Tae has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mabahong Tae!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dabur Ganiesh!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ganiesh sizes up Tae with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Dabur Ganiesh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tae tries to counter by clinching up but Ganiesh breaks away and moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ganiesh, as that shot connected.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tae has Ganiesh pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Ganiesh is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Tae - that's hurt Ganiesh badly! Oh, another knee lands and Ganiesh is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Ganiesh doesn't seem to be complaining.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Mabahong Tae!
In his post fight interview, Mabahong Tae started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Dabur Ganiesh spoke after the fight, saying 'I need to think seriously about retirement'.
